The OCON Project Management is a fully integrated solution that allows different departments to collaborate seamlessly. It offers functional solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency by automating the sharing of deliverables produced by one department with other team members. The deliverables include engineering drawings, schedules, RFPs, RFQs, purchase orders, delivery orders, invoices, and warehouse inventories.
With the Project Management Module, multiple departments can work on their tasks simultaneously, and all deliverables are integrated into a common platform. This eliminates the need for employees and consultants to chase information via email, reducing idle time and enhancing the team’s effectiveness and efficiency. Moreover, the module converts all deliverables into site progress reports, HSSE reports, and quality-related reports, which enhances the transparency and accountability of the overall project.
The Project Control Module includes the following functions:
The OCON Project Control module allows clients to effectively manage project costs and schedules, mitigating risks and improving cash flow management.
The OCON Engineering Management Module has two main functions: engineering drawings and specifications. The engineering department receives, edits, or generates the required drawings and specifications. With the Engineering Management module, team members from different locations can access and manage the most up-to-date engineering deliverables produced on-site by the construction team. This helps to reduce the risk and impact of last-minute changes made by clients or the engineering team.
The OCON Procurement & Subcontracts management modules enable remote project site users to submit requests for materials, services, and subcontractors to the project office-based procurement team. The system automatically converts these requests into an RFQ and RFP package, which is then forwarded to management for approval. Procurement & Subcontract then processes the approved purchase order, service order, or subcontract. The modules manage supplier and subcontractor bids with technical and commercial evaluation capabilities. Afterwards, the system handles all variation orders, progress billing, and more.
The OCON Logistics & Warehouse module allows the remote project site users to submit a request to the project office-based support team. The request is automatically converted into a Purchase Order which, after approval, can then be processed by the Procurement Department. The whole process ensures a smooth action pathway resulting in the shortest delivery time of goods and cargo to the worksite.
The OCON Document Control and Management module records all task activities and ensures traceability for a fully functional EPCC-driven project.
